Media's misquoting the term 'martyr' in India and in Pakistan proves the role of media in ignorance.

Since last ten-fifteen years, the term "martyr" was and is in use in the most at the time of deaths in India and in Pakistan in general in India in particular. Because the attack or firing from the out side of the borders of the respective states in which the deaths were casual and normal while in securing the borders for the respective security personnel either by Indian forces or Pakistani forces. Each of them have the national spirit against each and on violation of the lines they know and face the consequences of each against each and confront each other in firing or in attacking the deaths were and are happening at the borders of the India and Pakistan . Of course, with the support of the political background of the nda government the media used the name to the war heroes, shahid. Then at the time of national spirit in which all the limits and barriers were erased and allowed to support the border security personnel and all media in India in English they called ‘martyred' and place them under ‘martyrdom'. And next time during the attack on parliament in which few personnel were killed and the media including all leaders used the same words ‘shahid' used in the similar way. Since then that time in each and in every incident from inside attacks by the local extremists in which those security personnel were killed the same repetitive words are in use whether intentionally or ignorantly as a routine by the all the leaders especially the India media. Including I the global people including all Indians do not have any objection over the use or misuse of the words. On such incidents too the local media is calling them as ‘amarulu'. On the other hand, on the deaths of their cadre the call their men who died at the hands of security forces, they also use to call ‘martyrs' and the local media call them as the same. Consequently non academic media is changing the meanings of the words in the world's well loved dictionaries which are run by the highly qualified authorities of the subjects.
